High Definition. You can't tell the difference between standard definition and high definition when viewing internet samples. For that reason we strongly suggest you make a no-obligation appointment to view some of our samples in high definition in our studio. High definition has a resolution of 1440x1080 vs 720x480 for standard definition, in other words high defintion has 3.5 times the resolution of standard def! When your football-watching husband buys that widescreen Hi-Def TV you'd be able to enjoy the most important day of your life in glorious cinematic 16:9 Hi-Def. Why not preserve your memories in the format of the future?
Experience. 2008 is our fifth year of shooting high def. It is a format with special considerations in lighting and focusing, and after having more than one hundred high-definition productions under our belt, we can say with confidence that we've worked out the kinks for a truly smooth high definition video. Our competition is jumping on the high-def bandwagon, but do you want someone learning on your wedding?
Multi-camera coverage. We own identical Sony high definition cameras and we routinely shoot 3-camera weddings. It is a substantial investment, which enables us to offer seamless picture quality in multi-camera shoots, unlike situations where the picture quality changes between every camera angle.
Wireless mics. We usual multiple wireless microphones on each of our productions for backup and redundancy. After all, on a wedding you only have one chance to get the shot, and you cannot stop the wedding and ask the groom to repeat his vows because there was interference on one of the wireless mics! By using multiple wireless mics on different frequencies we leave nothing to chance.
Cranes and steadicams. We use cranes and steadicams to give you a truly cinematic experience. The cranes allow you to shoot beautiful overhead wide shots and to never be blocked by someone standing in front of the camera, either during a ceremony or in a reception. The steadicams offer super-smooth moving shots that really make you feel like you are watching a movie.
Extra DVD copies? No problem! Every package comes with four standard unencrypted DVDs (so you can copy them as many times as you like) and extra copies are at cost ($5, which includes package, sleeve and shipping!).
Do you travel? We will travel to any location in Southern California, between Santa Barbara and San Diego. We charge a small traveling fee of $2 per mile per 2 crew memers outside a 40 miles from our zip code.
